Your first step in AWS

šŸ‘‹Hello, techies hope you are doing well. This is my first article while Iā€™m learning the basics of AWS. The first thing is to identify why do you move to the cloud solutions in AWS on behalf of google cloud or Microsoft azure that the leading cloud solution providers in the world. When we go to stats, AWS global infrastructure page mentions some stats like this,

after I went on some researches the output same as the stats, most IT companies use there could solutions provider as AWS.
Then letā€™s move to the what are the benefits that you gain from using AWS cloud solutions,

Create AWS free tier šŸ˜±
After so much reading, letā€™s move to create an AWS-free tier account that can accessible over 60+ products without any charge. but keep reminding when you are creating a free account you need to add your credit/debit card. There is no charge when you adding the card. Feel free to choose a personal type account and add your address, confirm your identity using Text or a voice call and choose the basic plan for free.

After creating the account sign in to the console using the root user email instead of IAM user account.
As a beginner, I recommend to a use a card with less money because sometimes it can be chargers while you donā€™t know. Donā€™t be afraid I will tell you how to add a billing alert if you are charging.
Create a billing alert ā›”ļø
To avoid accidental billing this is the best way to handle the situation. First, you should log in to the console using your account, and under finding service search bar search for ā€œbillingā€ and select that option. Then select ā€œbilling preferencesā€ under that mark a tick for ā€œReceive billing alertsā€ and ā€œReceive free tier usage alertsā€ after that add your regular email address and save the preferences.

Before concluding this short article I want to add some billing information, how do you actually know the service charge before you take a service from AWS.

In this feature, you can create an estimation, before you choose a service from AWS. Simply you can choose what is the service you consider and create an estimation. All prices for services are based on ā€œpay-as-you-goā€ and you can receive up to 75% discounts when you are reserve some services from AWS.
